Rice Kheer...!! This creamy, dreamy classic is like a warm hug from your childhood. Whether it’s a festive occasion or just a random Tuesday, Rice Kheer is never a bad idea.

With the addition of crunchy almonds and cashews, this recipe goes to another level.

Ingredients:

Short grain rice: 60gm
Whole milk: 1 Litre
Sugar: 100gm
Chopped almonds: 30gm
Chopped cashews: 30gm
Elaichi powder: 1/4 tsp
Method:

Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.
In a kadai, add milk and bring it to a boil, then add the washed & soaked rice.
Let it cook on medium heat until the rice has cooked properly while stirring in between.
After 20-25 minutes, when the rice is cooked, add the sugar and mix well.
Then add the dry fruits and elaichi powder.
Serve hot or cold and garnish with sliced pistachios.
